EDT Driving Lessons Knockaderry
You may not know but many years ago Ireland had one of the worst road accident records in Europe. In an effort to stem these statistics the Road Safety Authority implemented a new and mandatory training initiative for first time drivers. The Essential Driver Training or EDT.
The EDT consists of 12 compulsory lessons that must be delivered by a RSA approved driving instructor to all learner drivers.
This 12 lesson syllabus has been designed to ensure young drivers practice vital driving skills and develop a more comprehensive understanding of road safety.
That's the 'whats' and 'whys' of the EDT.
Getting ready for the Driving Test in Knockaderry
