IT'S HERE... THE BEST DRIVING LESSONS Macroom HAS TO OFFER
At RSA School of Motoring we take a refreshingly different approach to driver training. Our years of experience has taught us that you the student are only as good as the teacher. Striking this balance is what we are best at. All our instructors are pushed to stay on top of their game so they can deliver driving lessons that bridge the gap between theory and practice and turn our students into thoughtful, safe drivers. That means no stress and no yelling.
WHY WE SAY WE ARE THE Greatest DRIVING SCHOOL IN Macroom
We want you to develop as a driver as fast as you can and as safe as you can. Our instructors don't drill the same things into you over and over. They assess your driving and focus on fixing your bad habits and building your road craft.
We have always maintained a focus on a want to give our students more. To help our students with this we have built our own training course to study between lessons to help reinforce what you learn in the car.
This is just one initiative that sets us apart from the competition in Macroom. We have seen pupils learn 3-4 times faster with our home study training. This material helps you grasp and understand those tricky areas of driving like roundabouts, night driving and your driving test maneuvers.
A Driving School in Macroom you can rely on
We all remember the fun engaging teacher in school that made learning fun and easy. And we remember the bad teachers that had no business teaching anyone. Not all teachers are made equal and that is certainly no less a fact with driving instructors. It's not as simple as searching 'Driving Lessons Macroom' and picking the first driving school you see. Who can you believe in to offer you that enjoyable and engaging driving lesson experience?
You need a driving school with a reputation built on experience and student success. A place where students are regularly passing their driving test first time.

Another one passes the test. Well done Rob Bowes
I got in touch with two weeks before my test on a recommendation from a friend. Within the first lesson was able to tell me exactly what I needed to fix in order to pass my test. I was feeling confident that I knew what had to be done going into the test to be successful. knew exactly what he was doing and is clearly very experienced in teaching driving as due to his help I passed first time after 3 lessons with him. Can't thank enough! Highly recommend.

Life changing.... Would recommend to you all, life long tips and superb instructing. BRILLIANT...
We have helped countless learners pass the test so before you continue your search we urge you to consider RSA School of Motoring for your driving lessons in Macroom. Read on to understand why.
More than likely you fall into one of two categories. You need to complete or start your 12 EDT driving lessons. Or you need to start your driving test preparation.
So here is a little information on our approach.
Essential Driver Training: What is it?
EDT Driving Lessons Macroom
As part of an initiative to improve the poor statistics of young drivers getting killed or injured on our roads the Road Safety Authority introduced the EDT.
The EDT consists of 12 compulsory lessons that must be delivered by a RSA approved driving instructor to all learner drivers.
Learning to drive safely means understanding and exercising particular driving skills and these 12 EDT lessons have been intended to accomplish that.
That's the 'whats' and 'whys' of the EDT.
Preparing for the Test in Macroom
Pretest Driving Lessons Macroom
There is learning the vital driving skills and developing your knowledge of road signs and road safety. And then there is learning to pass the driving test. Being allowed to drive alone on Macroom roads is a privilege you must earn and the driving test is your chance to do it. And naturally, as with any test, if you understand the conditions and what to expect you can pass easily.
If you have to prepare for the driving test then your head is probably a wash with different emotions. Fear of failing, fear of nerves getting the better of you or just fear of the unknown. Well fear not.
It is standard practice by many driving instructors to keep giving you lessons until they 'think' you are ready. They 'think' you are ready but they do not really 'know'. And they do this because they do not truly understand the driving test, how you will be graded or what areas of your driving will cause you to fail. Luckily this is not how we operate. All our instructors have been trained by ex-testers so they fully understand the driving tester and what they are looking for from you on test day.
We're not in the business of gambling on your success. Our pretest training fully simulates the 4 different stages of the driving test and fully prepares you for the way the tester will talk to you and how they mark the test sheet.
When we share this knowledge and understanding with our students it is like giving them all the answers to an exam before they even know the questions. Which is why so many of our student pass first time. That means less lessons and less expense to you.
