Which is why our instructors get that little bit extra training above the standard you'll usually see out there. As a student you are only as good as the training you receive and that training has to be catered to your individual needs. Our instructors passion for driving is infectious and aimed at one thing. Bridging the gap and turning a nervous beginner into a safe, confident driver.
Here is why people call us the top driving school in Ogonnelloe
We want you to develop as a driver as fast as you can and as safe as you can. Our instructors don't drill the same things into you over and over. They assess your driving and focus on fixing your bad habits and building your road craft.
Another thing we see a lot is students coming back for a follow up lesson having forgotten much of what was covered in the lesson before. Which is why we created our own unique training guides and tutorials to support you throughout your driver training.
This supportive material is to help you progress faster and stay safe. Our extra bonus training will give you the head start all your EDT driving lessons, on road rules and on the driving test. This additional free training material is not offered by any other driving school in Ogonnelloe.

When we were in school we all had our favorite teachers, the ones that engaged us and made learning fun. And then we had the opposite, those teachers that had no place in the classroom. Not all teachers are made equal and that is certainly no less a fact with driving instructors. It is easy to Google 'Driving Lessons Ogonnelloe' and find driving instructors near you but which can you trust to best teach you.
You need a driving school with a reputation built on experience and student success. A driving school that gets people to pass the driving test.

Rob Bowes
Another one passes the test. Well done Rob Bowes
I got in touch with two weeks before my test on a recommendation from a friend. Within the first lesson was able to tell me exactly what I needed to fix in order to pass my test. I was feeling confident that I knew what had to be done going into the test to be successful. knew exactly what he was doing and is clearly very experienced in teaching driving as due to his help I passed first time after 3 lessons with him. Can't thank enough! Highly recommend.

I just passed my test today all thanks and credit goes to my instructor. I have been driving for some years and had failed my test on a couple of occasions. I decided to change test centers and contacted RSA School of Motoring a couple of weeks prior to my driving test and had 2 lessons and also a pre-test on the day of my driving test. you showed true professionalism in what you do I cant thank you enough. You Identified the grey areas were I was going wrong and I was put right at ease with your patience and understanding. Having that knowledge and experience sitting beside me advising me on what was required and expected of me just gave me great confidence on the day of the test. I certainly will recommend RSA to anyone I know and will highly recommend . Thanks again.

Let us start there.
The EDT: The history?
EDT Driving Lessons Ogonnelloe
As part of an initiative to improve the poor statistics of young drivers getting killed or injured on our roads the Road Safety Authority introduced the EDT.
The EDT syllabus requires that 12 structured driving lessons have to be completed, stamped and uploaded to the RSA website by a registered ADI.
Learning to drive safely means understanding and exercising particular driving skills and these 12 EDT lessons have been intended to do just that.
That's the 'whats' and 'whys' of the EDT.
The Driving Test: Crucial preparation
Pretest Driving Lessons Ogonnelloe
The art of driving safely and securely and the art of passing the driving test should not be confused as the same. You should already have the vital driving skills and road safety knowledge before applying for the test. Our Ogonnelloe pretest driving lessons are designed to show you how to beat the test by understanding the conditions you will be placed under.
If your test is booked there is a lot of unknowns and fears to contend with. They so often get the best of even the most seasoned driver. Our approach removes all the unknowns and associated fear that comes with it.
Most driving instructors will keep giving you lessons until they ‘think’ you are ready. They 'think' you are ready but they do not really 'know'. That is because of a total lack of understanding on how the tester thinks and marks you during the test. This is not how we do things. All our instructors have been trained by ex-testers so they fully understand the driving tester and what they are looking for from you on test day.
We don’t like leaving things to chance. We simulate for you all 4 stages of the test, teach you all the test routes and focus on the areas of your driving that are most likely to get you the most marks or fail you.
Using this method we get our student past the test in half the time it takes other driving school. That means less lessons and less expense to you.
