FAQ
Prices: your questions
Is the price different in my county?
No. The booking system sells one price list, the same in Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary and Waterford. A single lesson is €53.27 manual or €61.41 automatic.
Why does an automatic lesson cost more?
Automatic lessons are priced separately in the booking system. A pass in an automatic gives you an automatic-only licence (code 78), so think about which you need before you book the test.
What does the pretest price include?
A one-hour lesson in the area around your test centre shortly before your test, and car hire for the test itself, so you sit it in the car you practised in. It is €183.63 manual or €193.81 automatic.
Do I have to buy all twelve EDT lessons at once?
No. You can pay lesson by lesson, or take the 12-lesson EDT course at €587.95 manual or €659.24 automatic.
