Getting to the Ennis test
Ennis is your nearest test centre, 36.4 km from Lisdoonvarna, which is about 40 minutes by road. After that come Shannon at about 55 minutes, Kilrush at about 60 and Woodview in Limerick at about 65. Ennis will be the natural choice for most dates, and your final lessons are planned in the area around it.
The pretest is a one-hour lesson in the area around your test centre, shortly before your test. Car hire is part of it, so you sit the test in the car you practised in. For a manual learner the package costs €183.63, and you can pay for it online or by phone.
