Thurles is 15.2 km away by road, about 15 minutes, and Nenagh 24 km, about 25, so either works from Borrisoleigh. Both are close enough for practice in their area, so pick the one with the date that suits you. Tipperary town and Clonmel are much further, at about 55 and 50 minutes.

A pretest comes just before the test itself: one hour in the area around your centre, plus the car you will test in. An automatic pretest is €193.81. That way, your last practice and your test happen in the same car. Book it through the form once you have a date.

Your first lesson starts close to where you are collected, with the car and its controls as the only task. Rathmoy Bridge comes in as your confidence grows, and later lessons travel further from Borrisoleigh so you get practice on faster roads and more kinds of junction.
