Driving lessons Killaloe
Driving lessons in Killaloe explained
For driving lessons in Killaloe, we collect you at an agreed point, teach you for one hour with an Approved Driving Instructor and tell you honestly how close you are to test standard.
Included pick-up
Your instructor collects you from home, work or St. Anne's Community College and drops you back there afterwards, with none of it costing extra.
Approved, dual-controlled lessons
The person beside you is approved by the RSA, and the car has dual controls. That lets you take on Main Street and Bridge Street sooner, with support if you need it.
Patience as standard
Mistakes are part of learning, so nobody in our cars raises their voice. Nervous learners can go at whatever pace feels right.
An honest readiness check
We say when you are ready to sit the test in Nenagh or Woodview, and what is missing when you are not. No extra hours are sold to you for the sake of it.
Manual and automatic
Both kinds of car are taught. A manual pass lets you drive either type, but passing in an automatic gives you code 78, which restricts you to automatics.
Matched to what you need
If you would like a female instructor, or have anything else to mention, say so when you enquire. We take it into account before matching you.

Manual driving lessons Killaloe
Manual lessons from Killaloe start with the controls, so clutch, gears and steering work together before you add traffic. After a few hours, Main Street and Bridge Street bring junctions and other traffic into the lesson. Coosane Road follows when you are steady at higher speeds. Manoeuvres and longer drives come next, and the closing lessons spend time in the area around your chosen centre. Your instructor tells you plainly when your driving is at test standard.

Learn in an automatic
Automatic driving lessons Killaloe
Automatic driving lessons in Killaloe are the same course without the clutch. You still learn observation, positioning and manoeuvres, and you still prepare for Nenagh or Woodview. The difference comes on your licence. An automatic pass carries code 78, so you could drive only automatic cars, while a manual pass covers both. Because instructor times vary by town, we confirm your car and instructor for Killaloe when you enquire.

Nenagh is a little closer, about 25 minutes by road against about 30 for Woodview. The distances are almost the same, 23.2 km and 23.8 km, so the earlier date is usually the deciding factor. Your pretest follows the centre you book.

Yes. Your instructor stays calm and never raises their voice. Mention your nerves when you enquire, and your instructor keeps the first lessons close to your pick-up point until you feel ready to do more.
Can I buy driving lessons for someone in Killaloe?
Yes. Gift vouchers cover 1, 3, 6 or 12 lessons, in a manual or an automatic. The learner books with us as usual and is collected at an agreed point in Killaloe.
